We are pleased to inform you that the past 8th of June the Day Care área moved to its new location, opening the new physical area for the Hospital new Oncology Unit. The new Oncology Unit together with the Day Care area which is located on the second floor of the Main Building, unifies the attention the patient receives at the polyclinic, with the indicated treatment for a closer supervision of the patient evolution. Thereby a new model of assistance is generated which has positioned the patient in the heart of its design, aiming to provide the right support to the patient and to the family. Such support not only focuses on the emotional aspects but also involves a proper support at an informative level, bringing all the possible alternatives in order to make all the patients and the families of the Unit feel as comfortable as possible. The new facilities also provide areas and the right equipment for the patient healthcare and personal needs for a better comfort during the stay.
